  • Total Time: 45 minute
  • Yield: 4 servings

Description

Achieve juicy, perfectly cooked hamburgers every time on your George Foreman grill. This recipe guarantees a crispy exterior and tender, flavorful interior with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) 80/20 ground beef
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 hamburger buns (brioche or sesame seed recommended)
  • Optional: 4 slices cheese (cheddar, Swiss, American)
  • Optional Toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayo

Instructions

  • Gently combine ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl. Do not overmix.
  • Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and form into 3/4 to 1-inch thick patties. Make a small indentation in the center of each.
  • Preheat your George Foreman grill completely (until the ‘ready’ light illuminates).
  • Place patties on the preheated grill and close the lid. Cook for 6-8 minutes for medium doneness; adjust for thicker patties or desired doneness.
  • For cheeseburgers, add cheese slices in the last 1-2 minutes of cooking and close the lid to melt.
  • While burgers rest, lightly toast buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, cut-side down.
  • Remove burgers and let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving on toasted buns with your favorite toppings.
