  • 1 pint (about 2 cups) cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn or roughly chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Optional: Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Wash and halve tomatoes, mince garlic, and dice onion.
  • Sauté Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium. Add garlic, onion, and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté 3-5 minutes until softened and fragrant.
