Who can say enough about Summer? It is one of the busiest times of year in The Kitchen Garden. After all of the weeding, watering and keeping the pests away, our appetites are only matched by the amazing flavors of this season’s produce. Summer’s fruits and vegetables are amazing on their own, but are vibrant when matched with fresh Salmon, Halibut, Beef or Chicken. Summer is a time for simpler foods which take advantage of the fresh flavors–allowing us to spend the too few days of hot and sunny weather outdoors instead of laboring at the stove. We take cooking outside in many ways–grilling, cooking over campfires, roasting in the Kitchen Garden Company’s wood-fired oven, or picnicking with some of our Picnic At Ascot gear–cooking and preparing our al fresco feast in the cool of the morning so that we can enjoy the rest of the day, soaking up the sun at our favorite spot.
